About GC Singapore

The story of Geoconsult Asia Singapore began in 1996, when two Geoconsult engineers successfully supported two German contractors in their tenders for projects in Singapore. After the projects were awarded, Geoconsult continued its involvement as specialist sub consultant and started to establish a presence in Singapore and Asia.

In 1998, the company was formally incorporated as Geoconsult Asia Singapore Pte Ltd and achieved registration with the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB). The company could then start participating directly in tenders and become appointed to the role of main or lead consultant.

Today, we are involved in any number of underground projects in Singapore. Most of our projects relate to infrastructure and public transport systems, so we are proud to play a part in improving people’s daily lives. We have also expanded our business across the entire Asia Pacific region as well as the Middle East.

Some of our most notable projects in Singapore include the Downtown Line Stage 2, the Transmission Cable Tunnel Project, and Phase 1 of the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System (DTSS).

Most of our clients are prominent Singaporean and international contractors and building construction companies. We also advise insurance companies and governmental authorities.

Office and employees

Our first “office” in Singapore was a Geoconsult project office on the second floor of a shophouse along MacKenzie Road. Soon after Geoconsult Asia Singapore was formally incorporated, we moved into a real office on Beach Road near Bugis. However, by 2007, we had outgrown the Beach Road office and found a more generous space within the Bukit Merah industrial hub. We are now located directly off Jalan Bukit Merah with several bus stops facilitating an easy commute for our employees. We are also within a short walking distance of several popular food centres, shopping malls, and residential estates. By car, the area is served by the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), which connects to various parts of the city.
