About GEOCONSULT Buenos Aires

GEOCONSULT Buenos Aires S. A., was founded as a subsidiary of GC GROUP in 2008 by Martin Böfer. The background with the connection to the Chilean sister company and already established contacts to business partners in Argentina made it easier to settle down in the local civil engineering branch. Initially, the focus was on projects for the Buenos Aires metro and Trans-Andean tunnels between Argentina and Chile.

Since the founding of GC Buenos Aires, experiences were gained especially in the fields of civil engineering for metro lines, urban railways, hydraulic works for tap water & sanitation systems and construction of tunnels and streets. Feasibility studies and participation at calls for tender were also made for long and deep tunnels like the trans-andine tunnels which are part of the bi-oceanic connection on the continent.

Our clients are mainly local and international construction companies, many of them as local subsidiaries. The reason why is that the most building contracts are based on “design & build” modality. Also national companies and offices are part of our regular clientele.

Office and staff

The local office is situated in the north of the capital Buenos Aires, in the district Belgrano on the well known main street “Avenida del Libertador San Martín”, where many companies are located. With its total area of 200 m2 it offers space for more or less 25 employees. The connection is very easy by using metro and other public transports as well as the very close city airport.
